no more retirement, and OMG I HAVE A FANCLUB?!?

Ya I decided to come out of retirement due to massive boredom. That and I got a new computer - that and evil-dog got mad at me and told me to get off my ass and make music lol, and sadly he holds more weight over me than you guys do :P

You need to understand something, Mr. Keberos. A person who leaves a negative review doesn't need to have a long list of audio submissions to have an opinion.

If I took the time to find a decent synth and audio program, I'm sure I could remix better than him. Taken the time and the effort, I'm sure even Chronanmut could do a good job, but he doesn't. He just changes 2 tunes to the song and adds a beat and posts it. Hell, his FFVI Mog's Theme... I can't even figure out the difference between it and the original. The only reason he does so well is because it's a video game song.

By the way, from the looks of his "No. 2" song, it's rating belongs on the 4th or 5th page, with a 4.25..

dude, not everyone WANTS a totally melody-raped submission. I go more for changing the actual FEEL of the song. You say you could do better than me? PROVE it - go get a program - and spend the hours mastering the song and making sure all the sound levels are good - it isnt just slapping stuff in changing beats and submitting it - a lot of stuff goes into it - granted my earlier works may not have been the best - but they are there to remind me of how sucky I was.

as for the 500 fan thing - there is actually about 600+ - it increases every day. I've reported you to wade btw about threatening to zero vote me to keep me out of the top 50. You can bitch and whine but trolling is not tolerated here - and ive seen you harping on Realmguys as well. If you don't like our music - THEN DON'T FUCKING LISTEN TO IT! We don't do it to impress YOU - we do it because we find it fun - and apparently others like it too.

as for my "No. 2 " song - ya - everything goes down that is on the charts, thats just the way of life. The fact that it got ON attests to how many people liked it, as well as how many people reviewed it with high scores, saying they like it. Get your head out of your ass - honestly, who do you think you are, simon? Put your money where your mouth is - or shut up.

Aye, you can have opinions on music without the skill to make your own but you shouldn't bomb somebody because you don't like their song. If others like it, so be it. Everybody has the right to their own opinion but it's just rude to try to prevent somebody from getting higher in the scores because you dislike their music. It also proves how immature you are. Also, Chron doesn't just do remixes. He also makes his own songs.

As I said to Chrona in PM, I don't care about his original works. I actually listened to that No. 2 that you told me I forgot to 0, and I thought it was actually pretty decent. It's just the VG ones that I care about since I've been roaming around the internet for a while listening to remixes ( - Listening to an FFXI remix atm - ).

I am within all my rights to 0 whatever I want, and that's not a threat. Because as I also said to him, there are a couple songs which I actually liked, for instance Realmguy's FFI - Matoya's Cave was pretty good which I even gave him 10 for.

Its not the fact that you are zeroing the songs - its the fact that you are basically GLOATING about the act of doing it thats really pissing me off. If you keep on going the way you are they are merely going to delete your account - and then your zeros really won't have any weight at all.

and to be perfectly fair - I dont consider a lot of my songs to be "remixes" at all - you seem to think every vg song on newgrounds has to be a remix - they aret. I don't WANT to change the sound of it - most of the time the original song is such old quality that I basically just want to update the SOUND of it - is that so wrong?

I don't think its the volume I think someone mustve sent me a really crappy overdriven song once and it made like a tear in my eardrum.. and so hearing is less in my left ear than it is in my right ear..

I just wrote a review for your new ambient song and you replied about how your old music isn't getting as much attention anymore. I just wanted to say, music is inspiring no matter how old it gets. It stays within us even though we might not realize it. Even if it changes us in the slightest bit possible, it still makes a difference. Over time, older music will seem to fade away and newer generations of music will take over. It's just a givin'. Trends change :D , but that shouldn't stop you! I want you to look past your older songs and try to make new brilliant things to adapt to these changes and don't look back! Who cares about rating, who cares about how some people will make fun of it! It's really up to you whether or not the music has changed people.

I honestly believe your true fans will follow you and not only listen to your new songs, but listen to the classics you've created as well! I think possibly ten years from now when I'm browsing through my archives of old music, I could stumble upon one of your pieces and remember the times when I first started listening and still enjoy the song for what it is.

Now onto the actual response to your news!
I really hope your hearing gets better! Your health comes of far more importance than the enjoyment of others! The fanclub seems pretty cool! I plan on joining soon once I get some free time. After writing this comment, I'm pretty much out for tonight :D , but I'll be on tomorrow!

nope - its been there for a few years though - if you listen to some of my older songs you'll notice the stereo on them favours the left - haha I used to think it was an issue with fl.. I guess I listened to too many god-awful songs that people used to send me and it blew out my left drum a bit..
